Scope

The former Mercure Hotel on the Spui in The Hague has been transformed into the modern TRIBE Den Haag Centraal. As a full-service signage partner, MSI-Sign Group was commissioned to manage the complete rebranding.

The challenge was to carefully translate the distinctive international brand manual of Accor’s lifestyle brand TRIBE into physical signage solutions that are both technically feasible and fully aligned with the brand. This included signage for the exterior façade, the restaurant, the public areas and all 159 hotel rooms.

Scope

Our approach

Using the brand manual as a guideline, MSI-Sign Group technically developed, produced and installed all signage elements. Every component was aligned with the global TRIBE identity, with attention to colour use, typography, material selection and positioning.

Exterior

For the exterior, MSI-Sign Group realised high-quality, energy-efficient LED façade signage. The signage is aligned with the prescribed brand style and the recognisable, grid-like façade designed by architect Carel Weeber.

Interior signage

Bold visuals and brand lettering were applied in the lobby and the Hitch Hike restaurant. The elements were produced according to TRIBE’s specified colour codes, typography and visual identity.

Wayfinding

For routing within the hotel, a minimalistic and intuitive wayfinding system was realised. This helps guests easily find their way to the 159 rooms, 9 meeting rooms and other facilities, fully in line with the brand guidelines for materials and design.

Our approach

The result

By consistently translating the brand manual into physical signage, TRIBE Den Haag Centraal has become a strong visual statement. The exterior signage creates recognition and visibility, while the interior signage supports a clear and pleasant guest journey.

The project demonstrates how MSI-Sign Group brings international brand identities to life locally, with attention to technical execution, brand consistency and user experience.
