With the founding of Petrol-Sign in 2002 by our current CEO Eelco Lambooij, the foundation has been laid for the MSI-Sign Group. Due to its strong focus on the petroleum industry, Petrol-Sign quickly became a renowned signing supplier to prestigious companies such as Avia, BP, Shell and Texaco.

Over the years, Petrol-Sign’s range of services expanded to include the design, production, delivery, installation and assembly of signing elements. By continuously investing in research and development, Petrol-Sign became the market leader in innovative and sustainable signing in this sector

In this year Petrol Sign is acquired by MS INTERNATIONAL plc, a Company which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, and is active under the name Global-MSI as a specialist in the design, manufacture and construction of petrol station forecourt superstructures, that includes convenience stores, canopies, retail, food & refreshment outlets and car wash buildings.

This acquisition enables Petrol Sign to offer its customers an even more complete package of products and services.

What a year! In order to further shape the international growth ambitions of the organization, the price display technology division of Schauf GmbH (price matrix specialist) was acquired at the beginning of 2019. Later that year, the acquisition of Armada Janse BV (illuminated advertising specialist) was announced, followed by the acquisition of activities from Reklaspits BV (wayfinding specialist). The know-how and craftsmanship within these companies has significantly strengthened the organization’s market position.
